Guzm\u00e1n Ariza, President and Managing Partner of Guzm\u00e1n Ariza, delivered a keynote address on Wednesday, August 15, invited by the Alternative Dispute Resolution Center (CRC, in its Spanish acronym) of the Chamber of Commerce of Puerto Plata.<\/p>\n<p>In his dissertation Guzm\u00e1n Ariza discussed the arbitration clause, given his experience in arbitration proceedings and as an arbitrator in the Chambers of Commerce of Santo Domingo and Santiago.<\/p>\n<p>Fabio J. Guzm\u00e1n Ariza is one of the most experienced lawyers in advising foreign investors in the Dominican Republic, with more than 37 years of experience in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Guzm\u00e1n Ariza is president of the editorial board of <em>Gaceta\u00a0Judicial<\/em>, the leading legal journal in the Dominican Republic, and one of the most influential authors in the Dominican Republic in legal and linguistic matters.<\/p>\n<p>[August 2018]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Fabio J.
