The annual Guzmán Ariza Summer Camp and School will start this next July 1 with over 70 volunteers and 300 children at two different locations: La Ciénaga Public School and the new Doña Flora and Benjamin Rabinovitch Learning Center in Cabarete. Now in its sixth year, The Guzmán Ariza Summer Camp and School, organized by The Dominican Republic Education and Mentoring Project (DREAM) and sponsored by the , is a response to the lack of quality public education in the north coast and throughout the Dominican Republic. It is the first camp of its kind offered for free and provides vital opportunities for children living in varying levels of poverty.
