the dream projectGuzmán Ariza is a firm believer in the value and potential that lies in the children of Dominican Republic. For this reason our firm is a proud sponsor of the Dominican Republic Education and Mentoring Project (The Dream Project)..

The Dream Project is a nonprofit organization that since 1999 has been committed to providing equitable access to quality education for children born into poverty in rural areas and small communities of the Dominican Republic, fulfilling its mission by:

• Building classrooms, computer labs, libraries, science labs, and sport recreation areas;
• Providing Dominican and international volunteers to teach in classrooms, libraries, and laboratories;
• Organizing and operating summer camps, youth groups, preschools, and teacher training facilities;
• Securing books, school supplies, and educational materials for the classrooms;
• Working in partnership with the Dominican Government, the United Nations, the U.S. Peace Corps, non-governmental organizations, universities, and high schools throughout the world.

summer campSince 2004, Guzmán Ariza has sponsored the Guzmán Ariza Summer Camp and School, where every year poor Dominican children attend a program designed to keep them at school, offering them individualized academic tutoring, extracurricular activities, and alternative sources of education that instill life and job skills. The 2010 Guzman Ariza Summer Camp and School kicks off on July 1st with over 70 volunteers and 300 children at La Cienaga Public School and at the new Dona Flora and Benjamin Rabinovitch Learning Center in Cabarete.
