Ministry of Tourism Halts New Construction in Las Terrenas

The Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic enacted recently Resolution 02/2008 whereby it announced that no new construction permits will be granted for new developments between El Catey Airport and the Bahia Principe Portillo Resort, except in case of hotels.
